Kinga KOVÁCS is a Budapest based artist; dancer, choreographer and filmmaker.
She studied in the BailArt Dance Academy from 2013 until 2015, and later in the Lumiere Filmschool in 2019. She founded a vertical dance company, Pirrogó Duó in 2015. Later worked as a dancer and dance teacher in MU Terminal Contemporary Dance Company from 2016 until 2018, then became a freelancer. In 2019 she started to work on filmshootings as a script supervisor, and parallel started to research the genre of dance films. Her first dance film, Waving Distances premiered in 2024, and was screened several festivals worldwide.
Bernadett JOBBÁGY is a Budapest based artist; dancer, somatic movement educator and researcher, choreographer and filmmaker.
Jobbágy graduated from the Corvinus University of Budapest as a landscape architect – and space remained a key interest and inspiration for her since. Later she studied at the Contemporary Dance Academy Budapest, and also completed an audio-description program run partially by the Theatre and Film University (SZFE). As a former member of ArtMan Association, she has a 10+ years of experience in working as choreographer and dancer with people with different abilities. In 2021 she completed her film editing studies at the Lumiere Film School (Budapest). Her predominant background is movement: contemporary dance and improvisation, Body-Mind Centering® somatic approach, Tai Chi, and QiGong. Currently she is finishing her doctoral studies (DLA) at the Hungarian University of Fine Arts, her research subject is embodied filmmaking.
